🏑 What league does JRC field hockey participate in?

JRC field hockey participates in the Maryland Youth Field Hockey League. For more information on the league please visit their website - https://www.mdyouthfieldhockey.com

🏑 What ages are able to participate?

We welcome athletes in grades kindergarten through eighth grade.

🏑 Where do we practice?

Our practices are held at Fox Meadows Field.

🏑 When does the season start?

The season starts in mid-August and runs through the last week of October.

🏑 How often are practices?

Clinic practices one day per week and grades 3rd-8th practice two days per week.

🏑 What is the game schedule?

For grades 3rd-8th, games typically start the Sunday after Labor Day. They are weekly on Sundays through October. Our clinic team will participate in play days with surrounding rec programs. These play days are not weekly. They usually take place on Sundays.

🏑 Where are games held?

Games are typically split between half at our home field of Fox Meadows and half away games. Away games could be held at the field of any team who participates in the MD youth field hockey league.

🏑 How much does the program cost?

For the Fall 2025 season, the cost is $150 for clinic (grades K-2) and $160 for grades 3rd-8th.

🏑 What is included in the registration fee?

Registration fees include fully sublimated uniform top and shorts, socks, and any applicable league or tournament fees.

🏑 What equipment do I need to provide?

Athletes will need a stick, mouth guard, shin guards, and sneakers or cleats. While not required, goggles are also strongly encouraged.
